About DV Lions.
The Diamond Valley Lions Club draws its members from the surrounding areas including Diamond Creek, Greensborough, Watsonia, Bundoora, Mill Park, Mernda, South Morang and Epping. We welcome new members who are like minded in enjoying themselves whilst supporting the community. We run service projects and fundraising activities and all money raised is donated to approved groups and individuals.
In March 2023 we will be celebrating 50 years of serving the Diamond Valley community.
Some of our activities include:
Selling Lions Christmas cakes
December Diamond Creek Twilight Market
Recycling (blister packs, jars, milk bottle tops, bread tags, stamps) for various projects
Bunnings fundraising BBQs
Supporting Diamond Creek Blue Light Disco
Working with the Friends of Watery Gully, Wattle Glen in environmental planting and projects
Participating in Clean Up Australia Day
Collecting used spectacles for the Lions Recycle for Sight Project. We have collected more than 90,000 pairs of glasses and counting
We sponsor House 12 at Licola Wilderness Village; a Lions village which runs camps for underprivileged, and disengaged young people

Lions Australia is part of an international association, filled with people who are joined by the common desire to make their communities better, by using their creativity, enthusiasm and energy.
Membership is open to all people of the community in good standing.
Every Lions Club is a little different with its own mix of activities and meetings.
