Fun for all at the recent fundraiser
Diamond Valley Lions, Eltham Lions and Nillumbik Lions Clubs all united, on October 23rd for a fundraising lunch
event for Backpacks4VICKids (B4VKs).
B4VKs is an Australian Charity providing essential material aid to displaced children.
We had 53 attendees on the day and were joined by Sally Beard, founder of B4VKs. What a day it was!
While eating pizza and pasta the attendees had lots of fun, with a Silent Auction, Bottle Coin Toss, Bottle Auction, a Raffle, and many other activities.
We raised a total of $5,270.77 which has been transferred to B4VKs so they can continue the fabulous
work they do, for the less fortunate youngest members of our communities.
In 2022 when someone invites you to come to a B4VK luncheon say YES PLEASE!
